On our first week, I learned that a client server network composes a server and some clients. The clients request for services to the server and the server will then do the task. I also learned about cables used in networks. A network cannot be created without the use of cables, and there are three types of cables, one type is the most common, the UTP cable which is very affordable but has a lot of noise, another type is the coaxial cable which can handle a larger area than the UTP cable, and the last one is the optical fiber which can handle a very large area and can also handle more bandwidth. I also learned about some networking devices, these are the hubs, switches, and routers. These devices retransmit data signals and guide them to the pathways through the network.

Ahh since you know about the UTP cable, cant forget about the STP cable
Shielded Twisted Pair. Its just like a UTP cable but i guess more expensive, and keeps down the noise.
